When filling admission applications, follow instructions and meet deadlines

There are as many type of college admission applications as there are colleges. Instructions and deadlines vary from school to school. So, always pay close attention to these very different but very important points. Answer all questions on the application. Remember, don't leave anything blank! Once you finish filling the application, ask a friend or parent or some one you can trust to proofread your application. Even one spelling mistake can spoil your chances of getting you an admission. Ask your college advisor if you have any questions or doubts. You can also call the college admissions office directly.

Deadlines are real deadlines, for most of the colleges. Many do not consider an application that is received after the deadline. Make a chart of the application due dates, completion dates and mailing dates. Do not wait till last moment to mail your application. No matter how good is your application, you must meet the deadlines.
